Keeping Up With Kathryn, A New Beginning

Dear Readers of Wonders and Dreams,

My name is Kathryn, joyfully orbiting in the heart of Appleton, WI on this cosmic journey we call life. You’ll often find me exploring new activities that spark my curiosity and make me feel alive. I’m a soul fueled by the wonders of nature, the rhythm of music, and the companionship of people and furry friends. You might catch me cruising on my bike through some scenic spots, strolling downtown in the early morning with a yoga mat in tow, or raiding the local thrift stores for hidden gems. At home, I’m all about those cozy vibes, whipping up whatever vegan concoction my kitchen (or my boyfriend, Jack) dreams up, and sinking into the melodies of our favorite tunes. I’m a bit of a homebody, and as I navigate this journey, I’ve realized that the most magical moments often arise from the simple joys of life.

So, why am I here, sharing snippets of my life in this blog? I started this blog, Keeping Up With Kathryn, as space for more exploration, curiosity, and life. My vision is to cultivate this space into my little corner of the universe where I can share with freedom, create connections, and maybe even teach a thing or two. In fact, in the day-to-day earthly grind, I’m a middle school special education teacher. My passion for teaching started early on and I still am very in touch with my eagerness, innocence, and inner-child. The energy my students bring to each day keeps my own sense of wonder alive and kicking. In my classroom, you will see a lot of myself – a colorful space that integrates mindfulness and the arts. I love the teacher version of me, as it’s part of who makes me all that I am. However, I am here to explore more of Kathryn who exists outside of the classroom while hopefully educating you through my own experiences. So, welcome to my corner of the universe…

Keeping Up With Kathryn – where the magic is found in everyday.

I’m so happy you’re here.
